Pistis’ quest to learn the value of and define her life reflects our struggles with identity, while her sister Yagmur’s fight against addiction highlights the sheer inner resilience it takes to break free from one of the darkest depths. Meanwhile, their brother, Cadfael, will face decisions that can shake the foundations of their kingdom.
As the civil war ensues, will the siblings overcome their personal demons and past regrets? Or will they become forgotten members in the annals of their long lineage?
Brendon James is a high school English teacher and bartender who was born in the small town of Ventura, California. While studying journalism in college, he discovered his passion for writing stories and decided to write his debut novel, Foes Of Hope. He lives in Denton, Texas, where he constantly dreams up new ways to engage his readers.
